25th Aniversary

We show three exhibitions in January 2015 to celebrate our 25th aniversary!

The Artists ́ Association of Lapland was founded in 1990.Artists Kari Tuisku, Eero Kumpula and Seppo Öfverström signed a contract in the inaugural meeting. Their exhibition in seen in Gallery Napa in the beginning of January.

The ‘How to Read in the Dark’ exhibition is a representative sample of contemporary art and artists in Lapland, from the Southernmost towns to the Northernmost village of Utsjoki. The exhibition brings together various generations of artists, both old and new members of the Association. It will be seen in art museum in Joensuu, Tartu Art Hall in Estonia and Grimmuseum in Berlin, Germany. Artists are:
