Lola Cervant (México, 1989)
Lola Cervant is a designer and artist working with drawing and design to reflect on the relationship between human, nature and territory. Her main interest lies in the intersection of textile craft, drawing and contemporary design through collaborative processes and art-based methods, focused on sustainability, local materials and traditional knowledge. She has exhibited her works individually in Mexico, Hungary, Slovakia and Finland. Currently works as a designer at the EU-funded project, VillaInno – WoolInnovation 2023-2026 at the University of Lapland, where she is also a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Art and Design and a member of the board of the Artists’ Association of Lapland – Lapin Taiteilijaseura.
