I work instinctively.

Ideas that I seek to capture develop in the process of creating. I usually don’t make blueprints for my works. For me, most of the work takes place months before the actual sculpting. I might think of a sculpture for a year and when I start, it all happens very fast. The sculptures never turn out how I imagined them, but grow by themselves transforming into something else.

I usually combine different types of materials such as cement, hay, hair, chairs, wood or objects that I find and are attracted to in some way. At the end, I finish my sculptures with spray or oil.
