The name of the exhibition Earthling refers to the etymology of the name Adam. Adam means red earth, clay or dust. Earth is an element of homeliness. The earth, with its vegetation and layers, is the base and foundation, the feeling of belonging to something. The earth is also constantly present in our subconscious, as a symbol that has a strong basis in our identity. The living vegetation produced by the earth mirrors our own being with a fragility and beauty that cannot be separated from each other. Thinking and imagining the earth creates a state of homeliness, as if you remember your childhood home and come to a threshold where you can rest in your own past (Bachelard). It is good to remember that before a person is thrown into the world, he is placed in the garden.
