Metamorphosis has fascinated me since childhood, and after spending decades in the company of bees, I have unconsciously changed to think of everything in the world through bees, also art.
My career as an artist has been formed and developed with bees and this interaction is the basis of my art, and it is what I especially want to explore in my works at the moment.
The Studio Mustanapa exhibition features works from the years 2021–2023.
I dedicate the work “If sorrow would smoke” to the memory of my dear friend Saija Sormunen.
The opening is from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, April 28th.
