SHIFTING GROUND – MUUTTUVA MAA

'The exhibition Shifting Ground' is envisioned as a platform for transnational creative encounters with the everyday experience of climate change in rural and remote communities of Lapland and northern Canada. 'Shifting Ground' aims to contribute new artistic perspectives of Northern communities, peoples, and cultural contexts whose orientations in the global community are fundamentally shifting as a result of climate change.

Young Arctic Artists 2023 exhibition promotes emerging contemporary art from northern areas. Under the thematic umbrella of VÄLISSÄ / IN-BETWEEN, we now invite proposals for works and projects for the 5th edition of Young Arctic Artists.

Ars Nartae - Fell-Lapland Contemporary Art Weeks 2023

Framework of Ars Nartae Contemporary Art Exhibition 2023 considers objectification and commercialization of landscape, and its counter voices.

Finnish Ministry on Culture and Education supports Young Arctic Artists (YAA) project with 20 000 Euro!

The support is used for Finnish-Russian collaboration. We also got 3000 Euro as a so called covid grant.
