“Senses of the Seasons” is a workshop which aims to explore a sense from each of the eight seasons in Rovaniemi with those who live here

In this workshop we will explore such questions by making a map together. It takes approximately 2 hours. You are warmly welcome to join our workshop. We will provide some snacks and drinks.

Erkki Nampajärvi (b. 1982) graduated from the Arts Academy of Turku in 2010. Nampajärvi has regularly held solo and group exhibitions in Finland and abroad.

Näyttely on osa Viimeinen -projektia, jonka lähtökohtana on kuoleman ja pohjoisen samaistaminen itämerensuomalaisessa mytologiassa.

Prosessi / Der Prozess

Welcome to the dual exhibition which shows the results of the Prosessi / Der Prozess (The Process) project! Upstairs, at gallery Napa, you can find Savu E. Korteniemi's and Simi Ruotsalainen's exhibition Käskyjä ja kuiskauksia (Orders and whispers). Studio Mustanapa downstairs displays Michael Marnin Jacobs’ exhibition No edge nor center – The summer of 1942.

Ympäri Seppo Alanissi (s.1979 Multialla) työstää teoksissaan toistuvasti eräänlaista henkilökohtaisen mytologian teemaa, jonka kautta hän käsittelee omaa suhdettaan mm. luontoon, yhteisöön, juurettomuuteen ja suomalaisuuteen. Ympäri-näyttely sivuaa tämän ohessa taikuuden/magian käsitettä. Näyttely sisältää metalligrafiikkaa, sekä tussipiirroksia pääasiassa vuosilta 2019-2020. ”Teosten tekeminen…
